The University of North Texas (UNT) is set to ride the momentum of a breakout 12‑2 campaign into a nationally televised season that promises to put the Mean Green on the radar of college football fans across the country.
Six games will be broadcast on national networks, marking the first time the program has been featured on Fox, while also appearing on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, CBS Sports Network and the streaming service ESPN+.
A Televised Onslaught
The centerpiece of the schedule is the season‑opening showdown against Indiana, the defending national champion, which will be aired live on Fox and is expected to draw a massive audience.
Additional high‑profile matchups include two Thursday night contests on ESPN or ESPN2, a home opener against UNLV on ESPNU, and a road test at Navy that will be shown on CBS Sports Network.
The team will also travel to face Texas State in a rematch of the 2024 First Responder Bowl, and will host Houston Christian in a game streamed on ESPN+.

Head coach Neal Brown, who took over after Eric Morris departed, is overseeing a rebuild that includes a highly touted transfer class headlined by running back Jahiem White, a former West Virginia standout.
