A Strategic Step for Galaxy’s Future
The Los Angeles Galaxy announced that defender Harbor Miller and forward Ruben Ramos Jr. have received call-ups to the United States U-19 Men’s National Team for a training camp in Atlanta. Both athletes are products of the club’s Academy, having progressed through its developmental pipeline.
The camp will be held from June 1 to June 9, 2026 at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center. This intensive session is designed to ready the U-19 side for the upcoming Concacaf U-20 Championship, which also serves as qualification for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
A highlight of the camp will be a match against Japan on June 9, providing the young Americans with a high‑profile test as they fine‑tune their tactics and chemistry.
Gordon Kljestan, Vice President of Soccer Operations for the Galaxy, praised the two players, noting their quality and impact have been evident throughout their academy careers.
Both Miller and Ramos are alumni of the LA Galaxy Academy, where a holistic approach blends technical training, academic support, and core values to shape well‑rounded professionals.
