The Palm Beach Post has unveiled its Player of the Year nominees for flag football, spotlighting the most dynamic talents from across the region. The announcement comes ahead of an awards ceremony scheduled for May 28 at the SoFi Center on the Palm Beach State College campus, where the honorees will be celebrated amid a gathering of coaches, families and community leaders.

Among the standouts, Tatiana Alicea of Park Vista High School has compiled 696 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 74 catches, a performance that has positioned her among the top contenders for the honor.

Aubrey Fogel, also a Seminole Ridge product, has distinguished herself as a prolific passer, throwing for 5,185 yards and 78 touchdowns during the season, underscoring her impact on the field.

The list of nominees extends beyond these marquee names. Averee Brant from Seminole Ridge finished the year with 1,572 receiving yards and 34 touchdowns on 86 receptions, while Kaci Chambers of Spanish River added 1,382 yards and 17 scores on 116 catches. Sydney Hock contributed 1,411 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns on 120 catches for Park Vista, and Avery Schroeder of Wellington posted 1,047 yards and 24 touchdowns on 94 receptions.

Ava Wotipka of Somerset Canyons further enriched the pool with 3,617 passing yards and 61 touchdowns, completing 72.6 percent of her throws, while Scott O'Hara and the Seminole Ridge squad capped the season by capturing another Class 3A state championship, a testament to their sustained excellence.
