A Revamped ACC slate
Wake Forest’s men’s basketball program is set to open the 2026‑27 campaign with a nine‑game home slate at the LJVM Coliseum, a venue that has become a cornerstone of the Deacons’ recent success.
The schedule features traditional powerhouses such as North Carolina, Duke and Pitt, while also welcoming Boston College, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and the ever‑competitive NC State into the arena.
Home opponents and historic momentum
Wake Forest’s recent home record underscores the significance of the upcoming games; the team has posted 74 victories on its own floor over the past five seasons, a tally that ranks among the nation’s best and sits second only to the conference’s top programs.
Since the 2021‑22 opener, the Deacons have accumulated 54 ACC regular‑season wins, placing them among the league’s most consistent performers, and they capped the 2024‑25 campaign by completing a historic sweep of the West Coast swing, defeating both Stanford and Cal.
Road challenges and new partnerships
Complementing the home slate, the Deacons will travel to face a demanding road slate that includes matches at Notre Dame, Cal, Clemson, Louisville, Miami, SMU, Stanford and Syracuse, with the notable omission of a regular‑season meeting against Virginia.
Two seasons ago the team celebrated its first-ever win at the JMA Wireless Dome, a milestone achieved when they downed Syracuse and SMU, a moment that added a new chapter to the program’s road narrative.
Fans can expect a structured seating assignment rollout in the coming weeks, a process that will help shape the atmosphere as the Coliseum prepares to host another round of high‑stakes ACC confrontations.
