The Brantford Bulldogs have secured the commitment of forward Xavier Lieb, a 19‑year‑old from Carrolltown, Pennsylvania, who concluded his most recent USHL campaign with the Dubuque Fighting Saints.
Lieb arrives after a season in which he recorded 27 points in 52 games, while also earning a place on the 2025‑26 USHL All‑Academic Team, underscoring his balance of athletic and scholarly achievement.
A Versatile Offensive Threat
Before his junior stint, Lieb compiled 78 points in 61 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite AAA program and followed that with 67 points in 40 games the next year, a performance that culminated in a leading role at the US Nationals where he posted eight points across five contests.
General manager Spencer Hyman praised the newcomer, highlighting Lieb’s “all‑around abilities, work ethic and character” as qualities that align perfectly with the Bulldogs’ vision for the upcoming season.
Lieb himself expressed enthusiasm about joining the organization, stating he is eager to “represent the Bulldogs and play in front of their fans” as the team prepares to hit the ice.
