Syracuse Announces 2026‑27 ACC Schedule
The Orange will contest an 18‑game conference slate next season, a slate that blends familiar foes with fresh challenges.
First‑year head coach Gerry McNamara, a former Syracuse star, says the schedule is a chance to restore the program’s former glory and return to the NCAA Tournament.
Home Games Highlight Historic Rivalries
Syracuse will host Duke, Virginia, Louisville and North Carolina at the Carrier Dome, renewing rivalries that date back decades.
Each of those opponents brings a different storyline: Duke’s young star Deron Rippey Jr., who previously visited the campus, Virginia’s defensive identity, Louisville’s fast‑paced attack and North Carolina’s new leadership under Michael Malone.
The Orange will also travel to face California, Clemson, Miami and several other ACC members, testing the team against a diverse set of environments.
Preseason publications have already placed several of those teams in the national conversation. CBS Sports and ESPN listed Duke, Virginia, Louisville, Miami and North Carolina among their top‑ranked squads, while ESPN’s bracketology includes eight ACC teams, among them Duke, Louisville, Virginia and Miami.
The full 18‑game league schedule will be unveiled in September, at which point fans will learn exact dates, television assignments and venue details.
Looking Ahead
With a roster that includes returning talent and newcomers such as Naithan George and Akir Souare, Syracuse hopes to translate the tough schedule into growth and, ultimately, postseason play.
