The University of Wisconsin has released its 2026 women's soccer schedule, outlining a demanding 17‑match campaign that blends a rigorous non‑conference slate with a competitive Big Ten slate.
Nine of those contests will be played on the familiar turf of the McClimon Soccer Complex, giving the Badgers a strong home‑field advantage as they seek to build early momentum.
The season opens with two exhibition fixtures: a home clash against St. Thomas on August 5, followed by a home meeting with North Dakota State on August 8, setting the tone for a campaign that promises intensity from the first whistle.
Regular‑season action kicks off on August 13 when Wisconsin hosts TCU in Madison, launching a series of non‑conference games that will also include visits from BYU (August 19), Marquette (August 23) and Illinois Chicago (August 30).
The Badgers will also travel for non‑conference road tests in Milwaukee on September 3 and to Central Michigan on September 6, adding geographic variety to their early schedule.
Big Ten Showdown
Conference play begins on September 10 at Illinois, after which the Badgers will host a formidable lineup of Northwestern, Indiana, Ohio State, Minnesota, Oregon and Washington at home, while hitting the road for matches at Maryland, Rutgers, Nebraska, Michigan and Iowa.
Returning senior forward Erin Connolly, who led the team with nine goals last season, is expected to anchor the attack, while new additions aim to sustain the upward trajectory the program has been charting.
With a blend of seasoned veterans and fresh talent, Wisconsin looks to continue its climb within one of the nation’s most competitive conferences, aiming for a deep run in the NCAA tournament.
