Seattle’s FIFA World Cup 2026 Celebration Takes Shape
Seattle is gearing up to host a citywide celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2026, powered by Lenovo and anchored at Waterfront Park. The initiative combines free public programming on the park’s Pier 62 with a ticketed floating barge that will broadcast a curated slate of matches.
Organizers have scheduled live viewings of fourteen of the tournament’s most anticipated fixtures, among them every appearance by the U.S. Men’s National Team, Mexico and Canada. In addition to the broadcasts, the event will feature community‑focused activities, youth soccer clinics and a series of cultural performances designed to showcase Seattle’s vibrant soccer heritage.
Premium Hospitality and Guest Appearances
The floating barge offers premium hospitality packages that include gourmet food, premium beverages, live DJs, emcees and appearances by local soccer personalities. Exclusive presale tickets were made available to Reign FC and Sounders FC members before going on sale to the general public, giving fans early access to the most sought‑after experiences.
Special guests slated to appear on the barge include former Reign FC and Sounders FC defenders Lu Barnes and Brad Evans, who will join the festivities alongside other Seattle soccer icons. Fans can choose from several ticket tiers, ranging from General Admission to all‑inclusive hospitality bundles, ensuring options for a wide range of budgets and interests.
Community Access and Future Announcements
Beyond the barge, Seattle Soccer Celebration has pledged to keep the event welcoming and accessible to residents across the region. Additional details about the free public programming at Pier 62 will be released in the coming months, and reservations can be secured through the celebration’s microsite.
