ACC Announces 2026‑27 Men's Basketball Slate
The Atlantic Coast Conference unveiled the full 18‑game conference schedule for the upcoming 2026‑27 men's basketball season, setting the stage for a balanced rotation of opponents across the league.
North Carolina will meet both Duke and Louisville on a home‑and‑away basis, ensuring the traditional rivalry games remain part of the Tar Heels' calendar.
The schedule is structured so that Carolina will host seven ACC foes in Chapel Hill while traveling to face another seven on the road, creating an even split of conference matchups.
Among the seven home opponents are Cal, Georgia Tech, Miami, NC State, SMU, Stanford and Virginia, each slated for a single contest in the Dean Smith Center.
On the road, the Tar Heels are set to play Boston College, Florida State, Notre Dame, Pitt, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest, providing a varied slate of environments.
The league also introduced a variable partner system, where each team will face one designated opponent both home and away, while the remaining 14 teams are played once apiece, either at home or away, depending on the season.
Conference play is slated to begin in late December and conclude on the first Saturday of March, giving teams a compact but comprehensive schedule.
