The Great Northern Conference announced its postseason baseball awards on Wednesday, recognizing the standout performances of players and coaches across its member schools.
Team of the Year and Coach Honors
Escanaba was crowned Team of the Year, and Scott Hanson, the head coach of the Eskymos, received Coach of the Year honors.
Jack Kriegl of Kingsford and Mikaiden Hughes from Escanaba were named co‑Offensive Players of the Year, while Lennox Peacock of Escanaba earned Pitcher of the Year.
The Dream Team roster pulls talent from Marquette, Escanaba, Kingsford, Gladstone and Menominee, showcasing the conference’s depth.
A Second Team also features players from those same schools, and honorable mentions round out the recognition across the league.
