Florida A&M University’s 2026 football campaign will be beamed to viewers across the country, with eight of its twelve games slated for television.
A broadcast‑heavy schedule
Four of those broadcasts will appear on ESPN’s family of networks, while the remainder will stream for free on the HBCU GO platform, giving fans multiple ways to follow the Rattlers.
The season opens with a home game against Albany State on August 29, but the first high‑profile showcase arrives on Labor Day weekend when the Rattlers travel to Miami Gardens for the Orange Blossom Classic against South Carolina State, kicking off at 3 p.m. Eastern.
A week later, on September 10, FAMU will host the Miami Hurricanes at 8 p.m., a contest that will air on the Atlantic Coast Conference network via the ESPN app, pitting the Rattlers against the playoff runner‑up.
Later in the month, the team will visit Jackson State on October 17, then return home for homecoming against Bethune‑Cookman on November 21, a game that will stream on ESPN+.
Key matchups and homecoming highlights
The Rattlers will also face Alabama State on October 10, renew the Atlanta Football Classic with Tennessee State on September 19, and close the regular season with a showdown against Bethune‑Cookman in Orlando on November 21, which will be carried on ESPN+.
Additional televised dates include a visit to Jackson State on October 17 and a homecoming game against Arkansas‑Pine Bluff on October 24, both of which will be streamed on HBCU GO.
While several games will be televised, the Rattlers will also play non‑televised contests against Albany State, Alabama A&M, Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley State, rounding out a full 12‑game slate.
