Summer Tryouts Open for Eastern New York ODP Talent

Boys and girls born in 2013‑2015 can test for the region’s elite development program

Summer Tryouts Open Across Eastern New York

The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association is inviting boys and girls born in 2013, 2014 and 2015 to attend open tryouts for its Olympic Development Program this summer. The sessions will be staged at seven different sites spread throughout the region, giving players from diverse communities a chance to be evaluated by the state’s elite coaching staff.

A Proven Pathway to the U.S. National Teams

The ODP has a track record of launching players into the national spotlight. Alumni such as Sam Coffey, Claire Hutton, Joe Scally and Phallon Tullis‑Joyce have each earned caps on U.S. youth internationals and gone on to represent the senior teams.

Because Eastern New York covers a large geographic area, the program is split into North and South squads that compete in regional and national tournaments. This structure ensures that the best talent from both halves of the state can be identified and nurtured.

How to Participate

Players interested in testing their abilities should contact the Eastern New York office at 516‑766‑0849 for details on dates, locations and registration procedures. Additional information is also available on the association’s website.
