Friday’s forecast calls for an 80% chance of showers with temperatures peaking around 84 degrees, while Saturday brings a 60% chance of thunderstorms. Sunday’s outlook shows a 60% chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, with a high near 83 degrees.
Although severe weather is not expected, isolated strong storms could bring hazardous winds. The service’s scattered thunderstorm prediction covers both Friday and Saturday, setting the stage for a wet backdrop to the series of races.

Saturday’s Sports Illustrated Resorts 250 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race follows at 6:30 p.m. The climax arrives on Sunday, May 31, with the Cracker Barrel 400. In addition to the racing, fans can attend the first Full Moon Pickin’ Party at Percy Warner Park in Nashville, adding a cultural highlight to the motorsport festivities.
