The upcoming documentary “Impossible Season” will debut on May 30, streaming on the social channels of LSUS and LSUS Athletics, giving fans a chance to revisit the Pilots’ unprecedented 59‑0 campaign.
The Pilots completed the perfect run with a dramatic 13‑7 victory over Southeastern on May 30, 2025, clinching the NAIA World Series and delivering the university’s first national championship in a sanctioned NAIA sport.
Directed by LSUS alumna Melissa Goslin and produced in partnership with Prize Fest founder Gregory Kallenberg, the 15‑minute film weaves together interviews with players, coaches and local voices, including former MLB infielder Todd Walker and Shreveport‑Bossier Advocate sportswriter Roy Lang III.
Through archival footage and behind‑the‑scenes moments, the film explores how the team first recognized the possibility of a flawless season, how they embraced the narrative, and the strategies they used to stay focused amid the hype.
