Houston Dynamo & Dash Charities, together with retail giant Kroger, have announced the Soccer Celebration Community Tour, a free youth soccer initiative that will run from June 15 through July 17 across five city parks.
A Summer of Soccer for Houston’s Neighborhoods
The program is open to children aged 6 to 17 and combines technical training sessions with informal pick‑up matches, while also offering dedicated activities for community partners and club members.
Games and clinics will be staged at The Opportunity Center, Wussow Park, Freed Park, Eastwood Park and Kirkwood South Park, each venue selected to bring the sport to diverse neighborhoods that might otherwise lack organized soccer opportunities.
Families interested in participating must register through the official Youth Programs Tixr site, where spots are limited and filled on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
Wade Barrett, Houston Dynamo & Dash Charities Vice President of Community Engagement, said he is "excited to bring the programming to hundreds of kids across Houston," emphasizing the tour’s role in creating lasting connections between youth, families and the broader soccer community.
The initiative taps into what has been a historic summer of soccer in the region, aiming to provide a fun, healthy outlet for Houstonians while reinforcing the city’s growing soccer culture.
