Baylor University has confirmed a home-and-home football series with the University of Maryland for the 2027 and 2028 seasons, a deal that replaces a previously scheduled series with the University of Oregon.

The first contest will take place on September 18, 2027, at Maryland's home stadium in College Park, Maryland. Two years later, on September 16, 2028, the teams will meet again in Waco, Texas, at Baylor's campus.
This will be only the third encounter between Baylor and Maryland, and the first since 1956, adding a layer of historic significance to the new arrangement.
Additional 2026 Opener
Baylor will also open its 2026 season on September 5 in Atlanta, Georgia, where it will face Auburn, further shaping the early schedule for the upcoming year.
