Honoring the Stars

Coaches across the Kensington Lakes Activities Association have announced a 120‑player all‑star team for the 2026 girls soccer season, recognizing the league’s deepest talent pool.

The squad is balanced with 14 forwards, 28 midfielders, 26 defenders and four goalkeepers, reflecting the diverse skill sets that have defined the year.

Hartland clinched the league championship after a decisive 3‑0 victory over Northville in the KLAA tournament final on May 14, a performance that cemented its status as the team to beat.

In the East Division, Livonia Stevenson surged to the title with a perfect 6‑0‑1 record and 19 points, while Dearborn finished a close second.

The West Division saw a rare shared championship as Hartland and Northville finished level at 6‑0‑1 with 19 points each, with Salem rounding out the division in third place.

Beyond the starting eleven, 48 players earned honorable‑mention honors, underscoring the depth of competition across the conference’s 16 schools.

The recognition extends to a host of standout athletes whose names appear on the official roster, celebrating not only team success but also individual excellence.
