The American Baseball Coaches Association honored a pair of DeSales Bulldogs at its Fourth‑Team All‑American ceremony during the NCAA Division III College World Series banquet, marking a first in the program’s history.
A Historic Double Honor
Seniors JT Anderosky and Mike Hooker both received All‑American nods, the first time the school has celebrated two recipients in a single season.
Hooker, a right‑hander who finished the year with a 9‑1 record and a 3.48 ERA, also earned the ABCA Region IV and MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Year award, underscoring his dominance on the mound.
Anderosky, meanwhile, was crowned both the MAC Freedom Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year after batting .421, setting a school record with 83 hits, scoring 65 runs, and stealing 36 bases while maintaining a perfect 1,000 fielding percentage in center field.
Looking Forward
Their achievements not only shattered personal milestones but also signaled a new era for DeSales baseball, a program that has steadily built momentum over recent seasons. The recognition is expected to inspire the next wave of talent to chase excellence on the diamond.
