Conor Daly Joins Kaulig Racing for Indianapolis Truck Race

The veteran driver will pilot the No. 25 Ram as Kaulig Racing continues its aggressive expansion in the series.

Conor Daly is set to make his sixth start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series when he climbs into the No. 25 Ram at Indianapolis Raceway Park on July 24.

The Indiana native, who finished 12th in the recent Indianapolis 500 driving for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, will join Kaulig Racing, a team that burst onto the NASCAR scene in 2016 with an Xfinity Series program and expanded to the Cup level in 2020.

A Strategic Move for Kaulig Racing

Kaulig Racing, currently in its inaugural Truck Series season, has opted to field a different driver for each race in the No. 25 entry, a strategy that reflects the team’s experimental approach to building depth across its lineup.

The team announced Daly’s participation through a short online skit that featured the driver visiting an Indianapolis Tide Cleaners location, a quirky rollout that underscored the partnership’s creative flair.

Daly’s Recent Road Course Experience

Beyond his upcoming Truck outing, Daly’s résumé includes a 12th‑place finish in the Indy 500, a stint in the 2023 Daytona 500 and a recent truck race for Niece Motorsports earlier this year, giving him a versatile background that Kaulig hopes to leverage on the 1.5‑mile oval.

The race at Indianapolis Raceway Park will mark a milestone for Daly, who is eager to translate his road‑course pedigree into a strong performance on the track’s high‑speed corners.
