Wright State University announced a significant addition to its women's basketball roster as Paula Sevilla, a 6‑1 guard/wing from Madrid, Spain, signed her Athletics Aid Agreement to join the Raiders this fall.
A Strategic Addition
Sevilla arrives after a standout senior season at Movistar Estudiantes, where she averaged 10 points and eight rebounds per game while shooting 58 percent from the field, 36 percent from three‑point range and 72 percent from the free‑throw line.
Coach Kari Hoffman praised the newcomer, noting that Sevilla brings a blend of athleticism and rebounding prowess that can quickly turn defensive stops into offensive opportunities.
The signing marks the fourth high school recruit slated to join the program, alongside Megan Ganschow, Rowan Klesmit and Sydney Williams, and is complemented by transfers Allie Daniels, Jasmine Fearne and Jayden Terry.
Hoffman emphasized that the incoming class bolsters the team’s depth and versatility, positioning the Raiders for a competitive season ahead.
