Reed Ramsier, a four-star interior offensive lineman from Orlando, Florida, arrives at the top of the 2027 recruiting board with rankings of No. 20 by Rivals and No. 12 by 247Sports. His size, technique and athleticism have made him one of the most coveted linemen in the nation.
After a series of official and unofficial trips, Ramsier announced that he has trimmed his finalists to Auburn and Texas. He will travel to Auburn on June 12 before heading to Austin for a June 19 visit, the last two official trips of his recruitment cycle.
Auburn enters the race with momentum, having already secured nine commitments in its 2027 class. The Tigers recently added four-star tackle Layton von Brandt, a move that underscores their aggressive push for elite line talent.
Texas, meanwhile, is looking to rebound from a disappointing 2025 season that left its offensive line underperforming. The Longhorns have already pledged two three-star interior linemen for the class of 2027, but landing Ramsier would represent a significant upgrade in pedigree.
