The Future Lady Cats Summer Basketball Camp, held at Edmonson County High School, drew girls from first through eighth grade for a week of skill building and fun.
Campers practiced dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, rebounding and footwork under the guidance of current Lady Wildcats players and coaching staff.
Mentorship at the Core
Head Coach Daniel Caudill highlighted the camp’s role in strengthening the program from the ground up, emphasizing how early exposure creates lasting community ties.
Seniors Shelby Sowders and Addison Spainhoward found the experience rewarding, enjoying the chance to bond with younger players and watch their enthusiasm grow.
With additional athletic camps slated for the coming weeks, Edmonson County High School continues to expand opportunities for its youngest athletes.
