Baseball fans in the Dayton area can look forward to a lively community gathering this spring as the Dayton Dragons announce a Baseball Block Party slated for Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to noon.
A Festive Mix of Games and Giveaways
The celebration will unfold at Rocky's Ace Hardware, a longtime sponsor located at 251 E. Alex Bell Road in Centerville, Ohio, where the team hopes to blend sport with neighborhood camaraderie.
Attendees will receive a complimentary 2026 Dragons Team Poster, while a series of skill‑building stations let participants try their hand at warm‑up drills, hitting, pitching, baserunning and fielding under the guidance of current Dragons players.
A baseball scavenger hunt will add an element of competition, offering prizes that range from team merchandise to ballpark snacks, and inflatable attractions and carnival‑style games will keep the atmosphere lively.
Mascots Heater and Gem, alongside the Green Team, will be on hand to lead balloon‑animal creations, face‑painting sessions and other family‑friendly activities, giving fans a chance to snap photos and collect autographs.
