Dakotas Top Prospect Games Set for June 2026 at Augustana University

Over 70 elite high school players will headline the event, which serves as a launchpad for summer showcase competitions

The Prep Baseball Dakotas Top Prospect Games will take place on June 2, 2026, at Ronken Field on the campus of Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The showcase will bring together more than 70 of the region’s most highly rated high school players from the graduating classes of 2027 through 2029, giving them a stage to demonstrate their abilities in front of a gathering of college coaches.

A showcase for the next generation

Last year’s edition attracted over two dozen college coaches and produced more than 30 verbal commitments, underscoring the event’s role as a springboard for players aiming to catch the eye of recruiters.

Among the standout uncommitted athletes from the 2027 class are Kade Wede, Brady Waddell, Everett Salonen, Landon Zink, Aiden Herner, Maddux Munson, Caiden Comparetto, Paxton Sohn, Kylan Pulkrabek and Max Zenker, each of whom could see their stock rise with a strong performance.

The event is positioned as the kickoff to a series of Summer‑ID camps, including Future Games, Senior Future Games and Super Sophomore Games, giving participants a clear route to national exposure.

Tech partners such as TrackMan, Vizual Edge and Blast Motion are providing advanced analytics and tracking tools, enhancing the evaluation process and delivering richer scouting reports for coaches and scouts.
