Girls' Player of the Year
Jordan Polk of Warren Central earned the prestigious Player of the Year honor after a prolific campaign that saw her net 41 goals and contribute 12 assists. Over six varsity seasons she has set a school record with 120 career goals, a testament to her consistency and skill. Her performance helped guide the team to a 14‑7‑1 record, a Region 2‑6A championship and a third straight appearance in the Class 6A semifinals. Polk has committed to continue her career at Hinds Community College.
Boys' Player of the Year
Jacob Porter was crowned the boys' Player of the Year after leading Warren County with 27 goals and seven assists. His impact was pivotal in Warren Central’s deep playoff run, which culminated in a semifinal berth for the third consecutive year. Porter’s achievements underscore the rising talent emerging from the county’s soccer programs.
Coach of the Year
Coach Jeremy Lawrence of Warren Central received Coach of the Year accolades for steering his squad to both a region title and sustained playoff success. Under his guidance the team blended veteran leadership with emerging stars, fostering a competitive spirit that resonated throughout the season. Lawrence’s strategic acumen and player development have cemented his reputation as a cornerstone of the local soccer community.
