2026 Lindenwood Lions Football Schedule Unveiled
The university has released its full slate for the upcoming season, which features a balanced mix of home and away contests at Steward Field at Hunter Stadium. The schedule kicks off with a home showdown against Charleston Southern on August 27, a rematch of last year’s 35‑28 victory that left the Lions celebrating a hard‑fought win.
Overall, the 2026 campaign includes six road games and five home games, giving the coaching staff ample opportunity to test the team against a variety of opponents across the country. In September, the Lions will travel to face Stony Brook, Missouri State and Eastern Michigan, each presenting a distinct challenge as the squad looks to build momentum early in the season.
Lindenwood has also secured a streak of success in the Game Ball Brawl against SEMO, having claimed the trophy in each of the past two seasons, a testament to the program’s rising competitiveness. The team will host Chicago State for homecoming in October, an event that traditionally draws large crowds and campuswide excitement.
The regular season will wrap up at home against Western Illinois on November 21, providing a final opportunity for fans to cheer on the Lions before the postseason picture comes into focus. Geographically, the schedule spans multiple states, with matchups slated in New York, Missouri, Michigan, Illinois and North Carolina, underscoring the program’s expanding footprint.
