Offseason Moves Shape Purdue’s Outlook
Purdue’s basketball program is entering a critical phase of preparation as the coaching staff turns its attention to the transfer portal, recruiting and player development.
The Boilermakers have already secured two high‑profile additions: Terion "Tank" Wallace and C.J. Walker, both of whom bring experience and versatility that Coach Matt Painter believes will strengthen the lineup.
Painter, who has scheduled a series of official visits, is also overseeing a new strength and conditioning regimen and individualized skill work designed to bring the current roster to peak physical condition.
With these moves, the team hopes to translate its offseason work into another deep run in the NCAA Tournament, maintaining the program’s recent momentum.
