Marlee Raymond Joins U-18 US Women’s National Team Camp in Bulgaria

The Tennessee transfer will train and compete in the Bulgarian Nations Cup from June 1‑10

Marlee Raymond, a highly touted recruit from the 2025 class, has earned a spot in the United States Under‑18 Women’s National Team training camp that will be held in Bansko, Bulgaria, from June 1 through June 10.

The camp, organized as part of the Bulgarian Nations Cup, will bring together 20 promising players, nine of whom are currently competing at the collegiate level.

A Brief Look at the Upcoming Matches

During the camp, the U‑18 squad is scheduled to face the Ukrainian Under‑19 Women’s National Team on June 6 and the Benin Under‑20 Women’s National Team on June 9. Both fixtures are part of a broader effort to test the American prospects against diverse styles of play.

While the matches will not be streamed online, they will be closely monitored by national team staff and scouts evaluating the participants for future senior team consideration.

Raymond’s journey to this point includes a standout freshman season at Penn State, where she appeared in three games and helped the team record two clean sheets.

Ranked No. 75 nationally by TopDrawerSoccer, she will soon transition to the University of Tennessee, where she will join the Volunteers program as a transfer student.

Head coach Toni Pressley will oversee the camp, guiding the players through intensive training sessions and tactical workshops aimed at sharpening their competitive edge before the international fixtures.
