Bison unveil 2026 soccer slate
North Dakota State announced its full 2026 men's soccer schedule, a 20‑game campaign that blends home‑field comfort at Dacotah Field with a rugged road trip across the United States.
The Bison will open the season on August 8 at Wisconsin in Madison, then enjoy a six‑game homestand that includes matches against Green Bay, Marquette, Minnesota, Washington State, Prairie View A&M and Presbyterian over the next three weeks.
New league format and pod play
The Summit League has restructured its schedule into a 10‑game conference slate divided into two pods. Each pod will see the Bison face North Dakota, South Dakota and South Dakota State twice, once at home and once away.
Summit League play kicks off in Grand Forks on September 24, with a home game against South Dakota on September 27 and a homecoming showdown with South Dakota State shortly thereafter.
Road trips to the West and South
After non‑conference games in California against Westmont and UC Santa Barbara, the Bison close out that stretch with a home match versus Florida Atlantic on September 10. The schedule then shifts to a Florida swing before the final stretch of conference play.
The regular season wraps up with away games at South Dakota and South Dakota State on October 29 and November 1, giving the Bison a chance to finish strong before the Summit League Women's Soccer Championship, which will feature a six‑team field and a two‑weekend format.
