A New Era for Youth Soccer Education
BSN SPORTS and the U.S. Soccer Foundation announced today a collaborative effort that will reshape how young athletes experience the game over the next four years. The 2026 World’s Game Resource Package is designed to open doors for children in every corner of the country, especially those in under‑served communities.
At the heart of the initiative is a free, downloadable toolkit that arrives through the OPEN platform. Educators can pull ready‑made physical‑education lessons, coaches can access a recess guide, and families receive printable activities that turn everyday moments into learning opportunities. All materials are aligned with the Foundation’s Soccer for Success curriculum, which has already reached millions of participants.
The package bundles a World’s Game resource library, a community‑day field guide, and a family kit filled with games and discussion prompts. By coupling physical activity with global‑learning themes, the partners hope to nurture not only athletic ability but also cultural awareness and wellness habits among the next generation.
Aaron Hart, a longtime advocate for youth sport development, and Ed Foster‑Simeon, president of the U.S. Soccer Foundation, emphasized the shared vision during the announcement. “Our goal is to make soccer a catalyst for positive change,” Hart said, “and to give every child the chance to play, learn, and grow together.”
The partnership builds on the Foundation’s three‑decade track record of using soccer as a vehicle for social impact. With the new resource package now available, schools, community centers, and after‑school programs can integrate the curriculum without cost, expanding access to safe, structured play in neighborhoods that have historically lacked such opportunities.
