Spain's national football team is set to make use of the Baylor Soccer Complex in Chattanooga as a preparatory venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, adding a high‑profile training site to the city’s sports landscape.
The entire complex has been rebranded with the Spanish squad’s colors and crest, featuring banners that drape the fields and a newly constructed training room that reflects the team’s aesthetic.
Rebranding Effort Led by SpeedPro
SpeedPro Chattanooga, a family‑owned design, print and installation firm, oversaw the transformation, a project co‑owned by brothers Chad Mize and Kyle Mize and their wife Betsy Mize.
The Spanish squad is scheduled to arrive in Chattanooga on June 5, and will host a free community training session on June 6 at 6 p.m., an event that will be limited in capacity and requires fans to enter a ticket drawing run by The Sports & Events Corporation.
SpeedPro began collaborating with the team’s promoter in April, tailoring the visual overhaul to match the exact specifications of the national team’s branding.
A Secluded Training Haven
Officials said the complex was chosen for its isolated setting and immaculately maintained pitches, qualities that promise an uninterrupted preparation environment for the world‑class athletes.
The initiative underscores the growing partnership between local businesses and international sports entities, highlighting Chattanooga’s rising profile on the global soccer stage.
The FIFA World Cup, recognized as the most widely watched sporting event on the planet, returns every four years, and this preparation phase offers a preview of the excitement to come.
