Marlee Raymond Joins U.S. Women’s U-18 Training Camp in Bulgaria

The Penn State alum will train with the national team through June 10 as part of a series of international matches

Marlee Raymond, a defender who concluded her freshman year at Penn State, has been selected for the United States Women's National Team U-18 International Training Camp in Bansko, Bulgaria.

The camp, which began on Monday and runs through June 10, gathers 20 players, including nine current college athletes, under the guidance of head coach Toni Pressley.

During the stint, the U-18 squad will face the Ukrainian U-19 Women's National Team on Saturday and the Benin U-20 side on June 9 as part of the Bulgarian Nations Camp schedule.

Both matches will not be streamed online, but they provide a rare opportunity for the young Americans to test their skills against diverse playing styles.

Raymond, ranked No. 75 in the 2025 class by TopDrawerSoccer, joins a roster that includes several of her collegiate peers, marking a significant step in her early development.

The experience also reflects the growing pipeline of talent from Penn State into the national program, a trend highlighted by the university's presence in the camp.
