The 2026 Iowa high school boys soccer state tournament is now in full swing, with the first round of quarterfinal matches set to commence on Monday, June 1.
Four distinct classes will compete across the state, each vying for the ultimate prize in a series of knockout games that culminate on Friday, June 5, when the championship matches are played.
Where the action unfolds
All semifinal contests and the title games will be staged at Mediacom Stadium, a venue that has become the tournament’s central hub in recent years.
Spectators can catch every quarterfinal encounter live through 16 complimentary streams hosted on Hudl and accessible via the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s website, while the later rounds will be broadcast on the IHSAA’s dedicated watch page and on YouTube.
Tickets for each day of competition are available for purchase online at a base price of $10, though additional fees may apply at checkout.
Parking for the semifinal and championship sessions is designated for lots 1, 1A and 18, providing convenient access for fans traveling to the stadium.
The event’s security protocol outlines a strict list of prohibited items, including coolers, sports gear, weapons, backpacks, strollers, outside food and drink, umbrellas, alcoholic beverages, pets, smoking or vaping devices, and any artificial noisemakers.
In contrast, attendees are encouraged to bring clear plastic bags, unopened water bottles, small clutch purses and seat cushions, ensuring comfort while adhering to the venue’s regulations.
