Presbyterian College has released the start times for its five home football contests in the 2026 season, marking the beginning of a schedule that fans have been eagerly anticipating.
Season opener set for August 27
The Scotsmen will open the campaign on August 27 against UVA Wise, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The game promises a lively atmosphere as the team looks to carry momentum from a breakthrough year.
Additional home matchups include a October 3 contest with St. Thomas at 1:00 p.m., a October 10 showdown versus Davidson at 5:30 p.m., a Halloween night game against Butler at 1:00 p.m., and a November 21 finale against Dayton at 1:00 p.m.
Building on 2025 success
The 2025 season saw the Scotsmen finish with ten victories and place eleven players on All‑Conference teams, a performance that has set high expectations for the upcoming campaign.
Head coach Matt Rahl, who guided the team to a school‑record 2,124 rushing yards and 26 rushing touchdowns last year, is expected to play a pivotal role as the program aims to extend its eight‑game home winning streak — the longest such streak since 1980.
With the schedule now set and the coaching staff locked in, Presbyterian College looks forward to delivering another memorable season for its fans and the broader college football community.
