Washington State University has unveiled its 2026 women's soccer schedule, a compact slate that pits the Cougars against eight Pac‑12 rivals. The announcement comes as the program prepares for its first appearance in the conference's newly created tournament, set to run from November 11‑15.
Eight conference battles await the Cougars
Four of those contests will be played on the familiar grass of Lower Soccer Field, while the remaining four will take the team on the road. The balance of home and away fixtures was designed to give the squad a strong start while testing its depth against a variety of opponents.
The season opens on October 1 with a home showdown against Oregon State. A week later, the Cougars travel to Fresno State, a match scheduled immediately after the WSU football game, before heading to Logan, Utah, for a contest with Utah State on October 8.
Coach Chris Citowicki, in his first year at the helm, will guide the team on its initial road trip, emphasizing preparation and continuity. The schedule then proceeds with a visit to Gonzaga on October 17, followed by a home weekend against San Diego State on October 22.
November tournament to crown a new champion
The inaugural Pac‑12 Women's Soccer Tournament will be held from November 11‑15, bringing together the conference's top teams for a condensed battle for the title. The Cougars' final regular‑season home game arrives on October 25 against Texas State, after which they will close the schedule on the road against Colorado State on October 31.
The road does not end there; the Cougars will finish the year with a November 5 matchup at Boise State in Idaho. With season tickets now available through wsucougars.com, fans have the opportunity to follow the team through every step of what promises to be a historic campaign.
