The Ontario Hockey League’s offseason is already in full motion as clubs begin reshaping their line‑ups for the 2026‑27 campaign. General managers are busy negotiating deals, and the trade window remains open until June 11 at 3:00 p.m., giving teams a narrow window to finalize moves before the upcoming draft.
One of the more notable transactions saw the Spirit secure a first‑round CHL Import Draft pick from the Battalion, a move that could bolster their forward depth heading into the new season.
Priority Selection Heads to Kingston
The 2026 OHL Priority Selection will take place in Kingston over two days, June 12 and 13. Round 1 kicks off on the evening of June 12 at 7:00 p.m., while Rounds 2 through 15 will follow on June 13 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Organizers have announced that tickets are now on sale, offering fans the chance to attend the draft in person and watch the next generation of talent take the stage.
