CareSource Nevada, a nonprofit managed care organization, teamed up with Tre Tucker’s ProCamp to organize a youth football camp at Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas.
The camp welcomed more than 200 children, offering them a full day of physical activity, leadership exercises and community engagement.
In addition to on‑field drills, the program provided scholarships for 75 participants, ensuring that financial constraints would not limit access.
Campers were also asked to contribute personal hygiene items, which will be donated to the Dolores Huerta Resource Center in North Las Vegas.
Mentorship was a central theme, with former professional players and coaches guiding the youngsters through both sport and life lessons.
Investing in Community Health
Jayme Puu, CEO of CareSource Nevada, emphasized that supporting children’s well‑being is a core priority, noting that the partnership aligns with the organization’s mission to promote health and opportunity.
Serafin Calvo‑Arreola, director of the Dolores Huerta Resource Center, expressed gratitude for the support, stating that the donated supplies will directly benefit families in need.
Beyond this single event, CareSource Nevada continues to champion community wellness initiatives, aiming to improve health outcomes across Nevada.
