England’s Lionesses Warm Up in Palm Beach Gardens Ahead of World Cup

The squad is using local facilities to adapt to heat before facing New Zealand, Costa Rica and Croatia

The English national team arrived in South Florida this week, selecting Palm Beach Gardens as the hub for a series of warm‑up activities ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Community Session at Gardens District Park

On Tuesday the squad opened its doors to supporters at Gardens District Park, the city’s premier soccer facility, allowing fans to watch drills and interact with players while the municipality also hosts Portugal’s national team at the same venue.

The training camp forms part of a broader effort to acclimate the 26‑player roster to the region’s humidity before a packed schedule of friendlies.

First up, England will meet New Zealand at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on Saturday at 4 p.m., followed by a clash with Costa Rica at Orlando’s Inter&Co Stadium on June 10.

While the matches unfold, the team’s official base camp will be located in Kansas City, Missouri, providing a central hub for preparation.

The tournament itself begins for England on June 17, when they open their campaign against Croatia at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
