Georgia will travel to New York City in December to meet the Duke Blue Devils at the iconic Madison Square Garden as part of the annual Jimmy V Classic, a showcase that pits top programs against each other in a celebration of the game.
The matchup marks the first meeting between the Bulldogs and the Blue Devils since 1932, a year when Georgia posted a 43‑32 victory that remains a footnote in the series history.
Duke arrives in the spotlight after securing a No. 1 seed in last season's NCAA tournament, only to fall in the championship game to Connecticut on a buzzer‑beating finish.
A Home‑and‑Home with North Carolina
The Bulldogs are also set to embark on a home‑and‑home series with North Carolina, beginning with a contest in Athens on November 13, 2026, before heading to Chapel Hill for the return leg in 2028.
That series will be the first between the two schools since 1998, when the Tar Heels edged Georgia 65‑58, and it underscores a 5‑13 all‑time record in favor of North Carolina.
