Frank Holbrook, Brown University's head baseball coach, has been honored as the ECAC Coach of the Year after guiding the Bears to a standout season that exceeded expectations.
The team finished with a 23‑20 record, more than double the win total from the previous two seasons combined, and secured the No. 3 seed in the Ivy League Tournament.
Brown's performance was reflected in the conference's postseason awards, with eight players receiving All‑Ivy selections and senior outfielder Mika Petersen being named Ivy League Player of the Year.
The program's resurgence was also evident in its offensive and defensive metrics, ranking fourth in league batting average and posting a 3.92 team ERA in league games, the best in the circuit.
