North Dakota State University is preparing to step onto the national stage of the Football Bowl Subdivision as a member of the Mountain West Conference. The schedule released by the Mountain West includes marquee matchups against historic rivals such as Air Force, New Mexico, UNLV and Hawaii. In addition, the Bison will appear in ten nationally televised games, with six of those kickoffs scheduled for night slots, underscoring the growing visibility of the program.
Betting markets have already begun to reflect the optimism surrounding the debut, with some sportsbooks listing NDSU as a ten‑point favorite over Jacksonville State in the season opener. The anticipation extends to bowl eligibility, as the team awaits word on potential postseason participation.
