A New Era for Creighton Soccer
Creighton University announced this week that Blu Keiper, a standout forward from Elkhorn, Nebraska, has signed to join the Bluejays' 2026 women's soccer roster. The commitment marks a significant addition to the program as it looks to build on recent successes and maintain its competitive edge in the Big East Conference.
During her tenure at Elkhorn South High School, Keiper helped lead the team to 50 victories and captured two Class A District 5 championships. She also finished as the Class A State Runner‑up in the 2026 championships, underscoring her ability to perform on the biggest stages.
Her career statistics are equally impressive: over 70 appearances she recorded 42 goals and 32 assists, earning First Team All‑State, All‑Metro and All‑Nebraska honors as a junior. As a senior she added 11 goals and 15 assists while being named captain of the All‑Metro Team and setting a single‑game school record with four assists.
Coach Jimmy Walker praised the recruit, stating that her vision, finishing ability and work ethic can make an immediate impact and elevate the squad's overall competitiveness. "Blu brings a rare blend of skill and poise that aligns perfectly with our ambitions," Walker said in the announcement.
Recruiting Class Brings Fresh Energy
Keiper will join a talented incoming class that includes teammates such as Adeline Bosiljevac, Radleigh Childers, Aubrey Lane, Gabby Wagenfuhr and Taylor Yablonski. Together, they represent a deep pool of talent that the coaching staff believes can sustain the program's momentum for years to come.
The commitment also highlights the strong pipeline of talent emerging from Nebraska and surrounding states. Keiper's club experience with the Kansas City Athletics under Marcus Kelcher further demonstrates her exposure to high‑level competition beyond the high school circuit.
