A senior midfielder from South Rowan High School has been celebrated after being selected for the 4A All‑State soccer team by the North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association.
Cailynn Withers finished the season with 24 goals and 27 assists, numbers that helped her earn the prestigious state‑wide honor.
The recognition is part of a broader set of accolades that saw multiple girls from across Rowan County named to the Charlotte Metro 4A‑5A‑6A All‑Region team.
Regional Recognition Across Rowan County
Among the honorees were Withers’s South Rowan teammates Avery Rawlings and Anabelle Chavis, while Salisbury contributed Anna Kate Goodman, Maddie Crabb and Lola Koontz. West Rowan added Peyton Hand and Teresa Perez Salazar, and Carson’s Caylee Miracco also earned a spot.
Local coaches and parents say the selections reflect the growing strength of soccer programs throughout the county, highlighting a pipeline of talent that continues to compete at higher levels.
