Radamel Falcao Joins Skechers as Latin America Ambassador

The Colombian legend brings his 'El Tigre' legacy to Skechers' performance and lifestyle collections.

Radamel Falcao García, Colombia’s all‑time leading goal scorer for the national team, has just added a new chapter to his storied career by becoming an official Skechers ambassador throughout Latin America.

A Tigre Joins the Skechers Family

The 38‑year‑old forward will represent Skechers in football boots and lifestyle collections, embodying values of excellence, comfort and authenticity that the brand champions.

In his new role, Falcao will wear Skechers’ Football line, including the precision‑focused SKX_2 Elite boot, and appear in performance and lifestyle campaigns that spotlight the brand’s commitment to elite sport.

‘I value Skechers for its dedication to performance and the way it blends style with function,’ Falcao said, noting that the partnership also extends to his wife, singer Lorelei Tarón, and their five children, who will share the brand’s story.

Known as ‘El Tigre’ for his lethal presence as a centre‑forward, Falcao currently plays for Millionarios in Colombia’s Primera A, where he continues to chase new milestones.

His football journey has taken him to Europe’s elite, with spells at FC Porto, Atlético Madrid, AS Monaco and Manchester United, experiences that have sharpened his reputation as one of the game’s most feared strikers.

Beyond the boots, the ambassador program also showcases Skechers’ Glide‑Step® and Cozy Fit® footwear, reinforcing the brand’s versatility on and off the field.

Skechers operates a network of 53 stores in Colombia and roughly 77 across Latin America, a presence that the company says underscores its long‑term investment in the region.

The collaboration also features other high‑profile names such as actress Sofía Vergara and singer David Bisbal, signaling a broad cultural partnership that blends sport, fashion and entertainment.
