Princeton Baseball Stars Earn Academic All-District Honors

Three Tigers recognized for excellence on the field and in the classroom

Three members of the Princeton Tigers baseball squad have been honored by the College Sports Communicators, earning spots on the organization’s Academic All‑District Team.

The distinction reflects not only athletic promise but also a rigorous academic standard, as each nominee must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

A blend of performance and scholarship

Will Robbins, a standout in the Ivy League, earned second‑team All‑Ivy honors after a season that saw him drive in 25 runs, reach base at a .348 clip and hit six home runs in 36 appearances.

Teammate Tommy Googins was recognized as an Honorable Mention All‑Ivy selection, having paced the Tigers with a conference‑leading batting average of .328 and setting new personal bests in several statistical categories.

Jake Koonin also contributed to the team’s success, posting a .231 average while delivering five home runs and 24 RBI during the 2025 campaign.

Their inclusion underscores a culture at Princeton where athletic ambition and scholarly achievement are pursued in tandem, a balance that the College Sports Communicators aims to celebrate.
