Bangor Police Nab Three in Bat‑Assault Tied to Stolen‑Car Probe

Two adults and a teenager are charged after a midnight assault on a man suspected of knowing about a stolen vehicle

Around midnight on Saturday, a Bangor police officer responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The call set off a chain of events that would end in a violent confrontation on Mt. Hope Avenue.

A Midnight Confrontation

The officer spoke with a woman and three companions — Serina Beaucher, Bradley Dean and a 17‑year‑old — who later became the focus of the investigation. Hours later, another call brought officers to a residence where a man alleged he had been struck with a baseball bat.

Arrests and Charges

Beaucher, Dean and the teenager were taken into custody and transported to the Penobscot County Jail. According to charging documents, Beaucher faced aggravated assault, while Dean was charged with simple assault and criminal mischief. The teenager was charged only with simple assault.

All three remain behind bars as investigators continue to search for the missing vehicle. The stolen car has not been recovered, but authorities say the case remains open.
