Murray State University has announced the commitment of French point guard Talis Soulhac to its men's basketball program for the 2026‑27 season, adding a seasoned international presence to the roster.
A Strategic Addition for the Racers
Coach Ryan Miller praised the 6‑foot‑2 guard, emphasizing his maturity, high basketball IQ and playmaking ability that have made him a standout in France's second division.
During his most recent campaign with ADA Blois Basket, Soulhac averaged 12.5 points per game while dishing out 3.8 assists, shooting over 40 percent from the field and an impressive 80 percent from the free‑throw line.
He will join three other French players already on the Murray State squad, a factor that Miller believes will enrich the team's chemistry and tactical versatility.
The signing reflects the Racers' continued focus on recruiting talent with proven overseas experience, positioning the program for a competitive showing in the upcoming season.
