Right‑handed reliever Jimmy Burke appeared in 26 games this season, posting a 1-2 record and a 5.40 earned run average. Off the mound, Burke maintains a 4.0 GPA in his graduate studies focused on sports leadership, underscoring his commitment to both competition and education.
Designated hitter Teddy Deters contributed at the plate with a .280 batting average, nine home runs and 34 runs batted in across 55 games. His academic record mirrors his athletic consistency, carrying a 3.91 GPA in his MBA program and a 3.64 GPA from his undergraduate studies.
Third baseman Rocco Gump started every one of the 57 games and earned the prestigious Jack Kaiser Most Outstanding Player award for his performance. Gump balances a perfect 4.0 GPA at the graduate level with a 3.72 GPA from his undergraduate coursework, a testament to his disciplined approach to both baseball and scholarship.
Lefty pitcher Eli Nissen logged a 4.50 ERA and recorded two saves in 23 appearances. As a communications major, Nissen sustains a 3.71 GPA, illustrating how the program cultivates well‑rounded leaders.
