The Brown Bears wrapped up the 2026 season with a 23‑20 overall record, a performance that earned them a spot in the Ivy League Tournament finals.
A surge of summer collegiate leagues has begun across the nation, giving players who fell short of the NCAA postseason a chance to keep their competitive edge sharp.
The Bears' roster has scattered into a variety of circuits, from the Futures League to the PGCBL, the NECBL, the Coastal Plain League and beyond, each offering a distinct style of play.
Summer Circuit Showcase
Senior right‑hander Brenden Kline is testing his skills with the New Britain Bees, while junior pitcher Carter Barth is showcasing his talent for the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dogs in the PGCBL.
Other notable placements include Alex Benevento and Christian Butera, both juniors, joining the Mystic Schooners in the NECBL, and Ian Keusch, also a junior, reporting to the Lowell Spinners in the Futures League.
Freshmen such as Joey Benoit and Neil MacKinnon are already making impressions with the Worcester Bravehearts and the Nashua Silver Knights, respectively, while sophomore Cal McBurney returns to the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dogs in the PGCBL.
These summer engagements do more than fill schedules; they act as crucibles where players adapt to wood‑bat competition, confront new pitching philosophies and forge bonds with peers from different collegiate programs.
