Texas State University’s soccer program has released its 2026 schedule, marking the first year of competition in the newly formed Pac‑12 Conference.
The Bobcats will begin with two exhibition matches against Texas State Mexico and Abilene Christian before opening regular‑season play on August 12 at home against UTSA.
A series of home games follows, including contests versus UTRGV on August 16 and Texas A&M on August 19, while the team travels to Waco to meet the Baylor Bears, a program that eliminated them from the NCAA Tournament last season.
August concludes with three straight home fixtures, after which the schedule shifts to a road stretch that features games at Louisiana‑Lafayette, Louisiana Tech, and a showdown with Oregon State in October.
The regular season will wrap up on November 5 with a matchup against Fresno State, setting the stage for the Pac‑12 postseason tournament, where the top four teams will compete for the conference title, the host site to be decided by the highest non‑conference RPI.
Although the on‑field slate is now defined, streaming details for many of the matches remain unclear, as the Pac‑12 has yet to announce broadcast plans for soccer.
A New Era for the Bobcats
Head coach Steve Holeman and assistant coach Victoria Meza have voiced confidence that the team’s depth and experience make them favorites to capture the conference crown, despite the challenges of a brand‑new schedule.
